- Download the install file
- Make the downloaded installer executable
- Run the install file
- Extract the tarball
- Run GameCreate

Here's how it would look using ssh:

$ cd ~
$ wget "http://www.gamecreate.com/downloads.php?os=linux"
[normal wget output here]
$ chmod +x GameCreate-Setup.linux-x86.run
$ ./GameCreate-Setup.linux-x86.run
[you are prompted to accept the agreement; if you agree enter 'yes']
$ tar zxf GameCreate.tar.gz
$ cd gamecreate
$ ./gamecreate.x86

Perfect! Now what ports do I need open in/out for the Gamecreate client to run?

You will need port 1224 open.
