First of all, big apologies for everyone suffering under the SSL errors. We are aware of the problem and have been looking into a solution but we don't have anything solid yet.

I will be trying to get a firm decision made tomorrow about what is going on so I will update this thread.

In the meantime it would be useful for me if I could get some indication of how many people are having this problem and where (in the world) you are located.

Update: We have identified the failing service and we have set it up to automatically restart every few hours. We /think/ this will correct the issues for almost everyone but please let us know if it does not.

I still have this problem sometimes.

I think its a peering problem to your Eu host when i have this problem i have allways an loop at the traceroute without destination.

As noted in my OP update (sorry forgot to make a new post here) we have made the service that is responsible for those SSL fails automatically restart every few hours.

As far as we can see, this has fixed the SSL error problem that people have been experiencing.

If you are still having problems please holler and let us know!
