Hey,

Im a GSP and i have just installed gamecreate on my server as swiftpanel is dead. Im running Cent OS and i heard i have to manually install the games as the auto download install dosnt work on linux?
But im having problems when ever i do tasks that involve moving files it seems to fail eg. copying files to the subdomain. It didnt install the files to the server for the games automatically so i added them in manually and everything seems to work well i can create servers and run them etc.
But when i created a subdomain and go to install a new game all that copys over is the defult files and none of the core game files.

When it does these commands it goes waiting on host then in progress then failed.

Also is this the right way to manage rental users so they can change files on the server with out effecting all of them? And if so what if they buy 2 of the same type of the server and they want to run different mods is there anyway to create 2 different directorys or would they have to get another subdomain?

Mammoth doesn't support Linux installs, so you have to manually install all Linux-packages (or create your own content-server). "Install a new game" will therefore in most cases not work. You have to install manually for each domain/subdomain, or simply do a fully recursive copy from a working installation in one domain to the corresponding directory in your target subdomain.

Each customer should get their own subdomain. If they want to run two completely different servers, then they will either need to create config files which allow them to do so (this can be quite tricky, but if using sourcemod it is something that often can be done), or use separate installs in separate subdomains.
