The error I am getting while trying to start a L4D2 server is failed to startBOpenService failedServiceStart: failed to startexec: couldn't exec server.cfg.

This is a windows 2008 box. I installed ...

If you havn't checked already, make sure the firewall is allowing the connection. You can try to disable the firewall for testing and see if it connects then.

I have installed the L4D server on a Centos 5.2 host, twice now. It fails to start due to error 2, which means it can not find srcds_run.

stat(/root/Desktop/gamecreate/left4dead/l4d/srcds_run) fai ...
