Do you have two gamecreate processes running on the same machine?

Has the machine already been registered in another gamecreate domain?

Both of these alternatives will result in that behaviour.

There are dedicated server files for BF3, but you need to be part of EAs RSP programme to obtain them. If you are not an established GSP, that won't happen.

Has this IP been registered in a different domain before? If so, it needs to be removed from the other domain before you can register it in your current domain.

Have you tried to download the windows startscript that GC uses? I would guess it can easily be translated to bash.
