If you wanted to run GameCreate on a server at home that had a dynamic ip address could you use a dynamic dns service such as dyndns.org?

e.g

---gamecreate.ini---

ip mydyndns.dyndns.org

Ok, This would be good for the future though.

Also, When installing a new game it would be good to only see the ones supported by the OS on the server

Ah, I did have autoupdate in the startup command but removed this last night as I though it might be the problem. I will monitor the server and let you know.

Thanks for the info. I might just wait the for content server stuff as I don't have much time atm.

At the moment the client is running as root! So it should do.

Gamecreate didn't set these permissions on either BF2 or CSS.

I kept getting failure to start errors until I changed these permissions.

I have some questions surrounding the above.

-How often does the gamecreate client poll the content server for updates to games?

-Once updated does it restart the game to load the new content?
