The original issue was simple, although not what i thought it would be. The firewall (iptables) was set correctly for a fresh install and therefore had nothing wrong with it, GC however was no ...

Anyway, i am thinking of moving away from GC simply because it is starting to really upset me.

Well, i Have fixed the issue.

For those having the same issue. the easiest way is to re-config your firewall -- iptables
