Still no resolution here, after trying again numerous times. Any more ideas there?
I'm told if the server uses Windows, a recent DX dll is required.

I see you're getting the same problem as me (shutdown/attempt to start cycle).
I'm not sure if it will help, but someone mentioned changing cod4_launch.exe's name to iw3mp.exe and that fixed their ... |

I can't delete the Ventrilo servers unfortunately - they're stuck in "Updating" mode and have been since launch. Can't stop/remove at all.
As for the COD4 log - where do I find this? |
