I have had some bad expeirnce with panels and this i can say is by far the best, its so easy to use its amazing, and an amazing design, i love it soo much !!

The only thing is that how do clients say start/stop their server, change map, name.. the basics etc. I dont mind putting an addon or anything but how is it done ? I dont want clients logging into my admin section to edit their server.

If anyone has a way, like an additional addon, i also dont mind paying for it depending on the price.

I read mammoth have done something, and if i can rent their addon id be grateful.

Hi Jay,

We allow clients to login to our GameCreate setup.

However, read this post about subdomains:

Basically, you create a subdomain for each customer (not for each server).

This way, each customer will have their own environment (set of files, software installations, etc) to work with - which wont conflict with any other customer.

You can then allow your clients to login to their subdomain.

This is what we do with our rental solution.

We do however limit permissions, as you would do.

For example, customers can change their server files and configuration, but cannot install new games, or add new servers themselves - we handle this through the permission system.

We dont have a releasable rental server code example for use at the moment.

We only use our webservice calls (check your Web Services tab under Domain) to automate the install of games, setup servers, etc.

So you can either try the webservice method yourself for the time being, or simply do it manually if thats what you have been doing previously.

You just create them a subdomain, create them a server, then give them permission to that single server (on that servers Permissions tab).

From your top domain (the one you created) click on the top right Domain tab, then Subdomains.

From here you can create a subdomain.

I have a friend who said hes going to make like the panel for me, from the web services etc, but he said he needs an PHP API, for game servers or something, do you know how i can get one / what 1 did you use.
