My cstrike will only start from gamecpo, it will not shutdown or restart, it says it is down when you shut it down in gamecreate yet it isnt. I think there is a problem with gamecreate keeping track of the process id. It is a linux server. |

Be sure you are not running the process with -autoupdate parameter which appears to launch multiple processes. |

I don't have that in it. I am using the default one. |

The process must be changing ID for some reason after being started.
Are you doing anything different than normal (custom start scripts, etc)?
Perhaps sourcetv? |

Am in the process of polishing our linux support with gamecreate.
We are adding screen support to gamecreate client for linux which will help with these scenarios.
The screen will be the "container" for the game server process running, so whatever happens in there - gamecreate can still shutdown the server correctly if needed.
Hope to have this done shortly. |

No, everything is normal. I used screens before I started using gamecreate. |

Cool! Then I can finally get rid of my custom start-
scripts which wrap screen around the default scripts |
