Hi!
Im Confused.
I Installed DodS on the Server and they downloaded the Windows Server files?!
Still a bug or Windows Promotion .-): |

Mhh in witch folder is the srcds_run?!
I only see .exec and .bat files. |

Sorry my mistake, they aren't one and the same.
We'll get the linux package sorted out soon so you'll get the srcds_run and everything else as expected.
You might need to run a reinstall with the 'Verify the installations match the latest content master version' advanced option selected, or even just a full reinstall to be sure. |

Hi!
Okay now it installed all files but the Server crash.
I start the server from the shell he restarts 4 times than he run.
Game.dll loaded for "Day of Defeat"
./srcds_run: line 352: 24340 Segmentation fault $HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help wit h solving this problem
Tue Feb 24 18:01:56 CET 2009: Server restart in 10 seconds
Tue Feb 24 18:01:58 CET 2009: Server Quit
Than i start it from gamecreate and he starts but in gamecreate says he crashes and the server is stoped.
I start it with.
srcds_run -game dod +ip 94.127.16.11 -port 21010 +maxplayers 24 +exec port21010.cfg +map dod_avalanche
Can someone help me.

Hi,
I know your problem at the latest version of DOD:S.
There are 2 ways to solve this problem:
1. Create the gameserver on an intel machine, if you have one. There are no problems with this error. I've tested this.
2. Start the gameserver without the option "-norestart", the server restarts every 10 seconds, if there is a crash. In 5-10 minutes your server will start correct. Believe it, that really works!
Steam works on the next update for DOD:S. |
