It's not so much a setting up problem with SM, that part is simple enough.

We mostly keep mods like this to a minimum since we generally don't update mods for games with any regularity.

It is simple, so you shouldn't have much trouble adding config files yourself at your subdomain/game level.

If you want to have it in your default install for all servers, you could consider using your own content server. The content server help files can be found in the downloads section.

Slightly off topic: Since you do not support SourceMod and do not wish to
include basic config files for it, would it be possible for you to also not support
Mani? Smile We use SourceMod for our servers, and currently have 7 Mani-related
config files in GC that we can't disable and that make finding the actual config-
file we're looking for much more painful.

Simply being able to disable files from the game-file overview would be
wonderful. One way of doing this could be to have a checkmark next to each
file in the game-file overview page which if checked hides that file from the
server-file page. It's no bother if the file continues to be downloaded to the
server before server execution, the main issue is not having the file overview
overcrowded by irrelevant files. Any chance of something like this being
implemented?

I have to say, that I'm a big fan of SourceMod myself (often idling in #sourcemod to see what everyone is doing) and much prefer and recommend it over Mani.

I'm removing Mani from the system. It shouldn't adversely effect anyone. If someone has modified their mani files they won't be deleted. If they haven't been modified, you should notice they're no longer there.

I think keeping the package as simple as possible is the best idea, with no extras, so people aren't forced to download content files and have configs in their files pages they might not use and don't come standard with the game.
