How are you starting the server, and what does it say?

Can you please make a new topic about this with how the server is being started via GC (c+p the console window) and what errors you see if any.

Advanced Tactical Center (ATC) is not a game as such,
but a tool many people, especially clans, use for planning
the tactics for various FPS-games. Any chance it can
be included for the 7 games it currently supports?

File downloads:

Running a dedicated server:

Looks a bit irritating that it has separate executables for 6 different games Neutral

Absolutely. Two solutions come to mind:
1. Create a simple .bat-file which takes the game as
first argument and fires up the correct exe. The user
then selects the game from a drop-down list on the
configuration page.
2. Allow for user modifications to the executable.

1 would be the better option, I think. If you are willing
to add ATC to GC, then I will be more than happy
to help you out with a .bat-file Smile

#1 unfortunately is a bit dodgy too.

1) You could alter the batch file to launch a different executable
2) The process id is lost after starting the batch file

Really dont want to see 6 different 'ATC' entries at the top of the game list either.

Both installs also seem to share the same directory structure, making sharing the installs pretty much impossible.

Not really sure what to do at the moment.

Just add a dropdown-list to select the game and the dropdown-list changes the executeable which will be run.

http://savage2.s2games.com/

I am pretty sure they have a dedicated server software some where.

I noticed Savage 1 is on here.

As long as a user has sufficient FTP-permissions, this
will always be possible by replacing the executable
with another exe or a script. Or...?

Hmm... not good. Guess I'll just install and start ATC
manually then.

Thanks for looking into it, Andrew. Smile

HALO 2 would be a good one.

Why? Well, HALO 2 isn't supported by any other yet afaik.

I heard some GSP's managed to do this by controlling the console application directly sending commands to it.

This would be excellent (like a way so send arguments to the game)

The dedicated server for Frontlines: Fuel of War has
been released:

We plan to run a number of FFOW-servers, and would
very much appreciate GC support. Smile

Freelancer!
Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't support it any longer and I don't know if there is a licence needed to run a server, but I think it would be great to integrate Freelancer into GameCreate because it is the actual best existing multiplayer space shooter.
