Yes, seems they reconnected at 00:24. Only Letizia,
the one host that is guaranteed to disconnect at
least once per day, disconnected again at 05:50.

Weird that it happens to that host so often. Do
you have any theories on why that may be, Andrew?

Anyways, I am really excited about the change you
are about to make. Fingers crossed! Smile If you want
to elaborate on the changes you are implementing,

yes, i'm quite eager to know about these changes too.

a small status update on the connection issues:

my host was online without problems until 10:40 this morning (GMT i think) and now is having trouble connecting again.

Its seems that after a system reboot and therefore a client restart it has tremendous dificulties to reconnect with the master servers:

As i've observed first the client can't get a ssl connection at all and then moves to ssl negotiation errors.

Today it's still on the first stage:

Hi this is the first time im trying to set this up, and i just keep getting

Then it goes to eu2, that sais the same then back to eu1 and were stuck in an endless loop.

Is there something i need to do or does something not work?

EDIT:
if i use us1 server it goes 1 step futher and gets to auth but then fails on that , but i guess it should considering its connecting to the wrong location..

GameCreate is having some problems with the Europe master servers, and as andrew announced changes are being made and deployed in the next few days to overcome these dificulties.

the us servers won't accept your authentication because your domain is located in the european network and therefore doesn't exist in the us master servers.

we just have to wait till this is solved and provide as much input as possible to help the dev guys debug this problem.

try restarting you gc client application evey now and then, but apart from that there's not much you or i, can do about it.

but nevertheless i assure you that GC is the best game server control panel i've used yet.

Thanks for the support, it's feedback like this (and the rest on the forum when its constructive Smile ) give us the momentum to keep improving it.

Hopefully this week (or early next week as it seems) we can get these changes deployed, which should hopefully eliminate these constant issues.

well rest assured that your work is highly valued and i really appreciate that you have this policy of free use to hobbyists like me and many others i supose.

my box came with a plesk license wich can control game servers as well, but i really wasnt interested in having all the clutter that comes with having plesk installed like: IIS Web Server, database engines, dns server, mail server, apache tomcat and so on...

so... please keep up the good work m8!

I was wondering what the current status is of this problem?
Still having the same difficulties.. Sad

We're currently still in a trial period for this panel, but if all succeed we slightly want to roll out this panel more-over our servers.

Panel looks awesome, only the connection seems to be a little bit slow. But as mentioned, we're still in a trial period. Hope you guys can fix it in short terms.

i guess i was just lucky.

u know what i did?

to keep my servers running i copied the command line from the control panel page and made batch files to start my servers.

at least they work while GC is out.

Yeah, I have sometimes started the servers from
the command line too. But in many cases there
are problems when GC suddenly responds and two
servers are started. I haven't taken much time to
figure out which games behave like this or how it
can be avoided.

Was it deployed a few days ago? The host that
disconnected daily has been online since the 15th,
and other hosts have also been having little problems
since then. I haven't dared to restart clients to see
if they will reconnect, but things do seem to have
improved this last week.
