Last week we had a terrible time with punkbuster. Usually when this happens I remove the pb server files and reinstall them. Last week was the first time I did it with GameCreate and I found my manually downloaded files being replaced on server restart.

Where is the proper place to put the new PB files when they have been manually updated so all new servers will get the updates?

\bf2\pb I believe

Watch the GC Client console during server start, it copies some PB related files before starting the server.

Last week *everyone* had a terrible time with PB.
It's been more or less messed up for 2-3 weeks
now, and autoupdate has been working on and off.
