what exactly does this mean? Do I have to buy and expensive fixed IP address or are there other ways.

Its just GameCreate Client saying it did not detect you have a publicly accessible IP Address (you appear to be behind a router).

You can force GameCreate Client to use/report a specific IP if you know it is publically accessible.

Close GC Client.

Open gamecreate.ini

Add/change the line:

ip 123.123.123.123

Where you enter your public IP instead of 123.123.123.123

Then save the file and start the client again and it will login.

Yes, if you search for *my ip* in google and click on almost any link, you will find a site that gives you your ip. As Andrew says, edit in the ini and restart game create - this will work nicely Smile

The next thing for you to take care of will be forwarding the ports on your home router for the games you wish to play.
