Hi all

I can't access to http://eu.gamecreate.com/admin/Login.aspx

Is Europe location offline ?

not sure if it is related but some of my gameservers sinply won't start. its like the gc client is "not even aware that these gameservers exist". out of 6 gameservers only 2 are started by gamecreate.

If the host is 'online' in GameCreate, then there should be no problem.

Server's wont start if the game software is still pending install, for example.

Yes the host is online and there are no pending instalations. Thats the weird bit m8.

If i kill the processess of the two servers that are workinf (out of 6) GC "notices" that the servers are down and (re)starts them.

on the other hand the other 4 are not "missed" by GC and the GC client doesn't try to start them.

these are left in a permanente "starting" status on the web control panel.

As an example, when i start one of the two that work i get something like this on the GC client log:

Fri Jan 4 02:16:50 2008: ** Start GameCreate Booking: ID 9405326 **

and i stop it:

Fri Jan 4 02:16:59 2008: ** Stop GameCreate Booking: ID 9405326 **

the other 4 servers don't get this response from the GC client.
it's as if they simply dont exist

Just paste your http://.../Server.aspx link and I can login and check it out and see why it would not be starting for you.

this is rather strange as all the servers we're working fine yesterday.
they simply seem to be ignored by the GC client as if they didn't exist.

Ah yep, we made a change yesterday that made CS: CZ require CS to be installed.

This would have broken previous installs that did not already have CS installed.

What I have done for you is simply clicked 'Install a new game' and chosen 'Counter-Strike' and then ticked 'Do not download this game' and so it appears installed in GameCreate, but it has not been downloaded for you.

Your server/s appear to be starting now.

if you could only help my with another issue it would be lovely.

while trying to figure out what was wrong i created a copy of the server i linked you to that now seems to be stuck in the updating "status"
