Greetings

i have a problem so i shall explain you what i did and what happened


@using linux!

when i am trying to install JK2 it tells me that its not disturbed ( tho Linux binaries are made by a player and are free for any use!)
so what i have done is

i have put in /root/gamecreate/jk2( in this folder jk2ded)/base ( assets1.pk3 and assets0.pk3 )

afterwards i have edited the starting line which was jk2/GameData/base even tho gamedata works as jk2 folder

i have started the server it says

Second question whats what exactly is the external authenction? is it logging to game panel from a different website? and if not could that be done?

Third question how can i edit the gamepanel page? Stylesheet etc ! i couldn't find it even in docs

Are you able to start JK2 manually via the command line?

If so, what is in your command line (paste here), and paste what is in your GameCreate command line for the server.

You can get information on external authentication here.

There is information and some CSS examples for editing your GameCreate page here.

before i found the gamecreate i was starting the servers by making a loop which had the following lines

#!/bin/sh
while test 1
do ./jk2ded +set dedicated 2 +set net_port 30647 +exec server.cfg +map ctf_yavin
sleep 5
done


and in gamecreate is like this

jk2ded +set dedicated 2 +set net_port -5081 +set vm_game 0 +set fs_homepath /root/gamecreate/jk2/base +set fs_game base +exec port-5081.cfg


i have edited it cause the default didn't work either


and here are some infos about my jk2 installation
