1. I have installed COD4 onto one of my servers.. run it manually and it shows at version 1.5. When i try with game create it runs at version 1.0 with the same files.
Then i tried to run it manually via the cod_launch.exe and it ran at version 1.0

Is there a way i can fix the cod4 error.. as i want to host my team a server..?

2. Trackmania Forever..

It asks me for alsorts of logins in the configuration on GameCreate...
Then when i try running the server this is what im getting on the screen:

Starting TmForever v2008-04-16...
Initializing...
Configuration file : config21000.cfg
Loading system configuration...
...system configuration loaded
Loading cache...
...OK
Listening for xml-rpc commands on port 21010.
Loading dedicated server configuration...
...Dedicated server configuration loaded
Match settings file : MatchSettings\Tracks21000.txt
Loading match settings...
...Match settings loaded
Autostart server on internet
Connecting to master server...
...OK
Identifying on master server...
...ERROR: invalid login
Please wait, loading...
Server not running, exiting.

Press a key to quit.

Can anyone help me out here what do i have to do to get this running?

You need to create an account for each and every TMF-server you want to
run. You need to do this with the TMF client.

Unfortunately it seems that the GC config doesn't
include country information. You therefore have to
edit the server config game file yourself:
http://yourdomainhere.euORauORus.gamecreate.com/admin/EditGameFile.aspx?file=5035

Add the following line in the same area as login and
password are set (masterserver_account):
Code:
<nation>NOR</nation>

Exchange NOR with whatever your 3-letter country
code is. Restart the server and it should come online
for your country within a few minutes.

There's now an option in the GC config to enter your nation code.

Hmm... that's strange. Have you verified that the
server is actually running? Have you tried to look
for it in the client server browser? Can you take a
look at the server console and see if it looks ok? Are
there any firewalls or potential routing problems?

It all looks fine on the server side..
Is there any ports i have to open?
I have had many people try and connect to it.. and all say the same.
Do not have any firewalls or anything blocking the server software or ports.

"By the way for all of those wondering about the COD4 problem i found a fix!:
Delete the cod4_launch.exe, Then copy the iw3mp.exe into another folder and rename it to cod4_launch.exe and put it back into your gamecreate/callofduty4 folder.

This is only if your having problems running 1.5 version and its showing at 1.1"

If you are sure you have no firewalls, then there are no ports to open or
forward. So then I really have no clue.

I set our TMF servers up as regular TM servers by modifying the config
files. Since TMF was added to GC, I should now move the configs over so
that I can distinguish between TM and TMF servers. I'll try and remember
to update this thread when I do, and then I will hopefully know more
about whether there are other things that need to be modified in the
default configs or not.

Sorry for the late response.

I've just clicked on your link and successfully joined your server. What was the problem?
