I'm using CentOS 5 (64 bit I think, cause I have 8 gigs of ram). Anyway, I was told 64 bit would work with gamecreate (a friend of mine uses it with 64 bit ubuntu server).
I can't get this installed for the life of me. Is there any guide for installing? I've tried chmodding, everything....
I'm new to this and need step by step instructions...thanks |

So I got it installed, and added the host...but it doesn't wanna stay online? I know the server itself is online as I'm on SSH right now, but it keeps going offline when I try and install a game. The game starts to install, the files are there, but it keeps going offline. WTF. |

Can you please paste the GameCreate log output into here so we can get a better idea of what's happening.
Make sure to take out any passwords before posting. |

The log will be in the default GameCreate directory.
/home/gamecreate/ |

Go to the gamecreate folder you installed the client to, and look for the file gamecreate.log
If there are no log files, you may have to edit the ini file to enable logging to a file. |

Change the line
log-file []
to
log-file gamecreate.log
in the gamecreate.ini
Start the GC client again. |
