We are using vent as our guild's chat.. since last Friday we've had someone logging in and out under different usernames causing havoc during 25-man raids and other times..Obviously, we don't have the same sense of humour that this turd has.. Since you have to be a member of the guild to have the password - we are certain it's a member of the guild doing this. Is there anyway to get someone's IP, so we can figure out who is causing this trouble.. then we can boot them from vent and the guild!

Thanks Smile

Melissa

When you're logged into the server as an admin, you can look at the logs through rcon.

In rcon type in

loggrep 50 turd

which will return the last 50 lines from the log that have turd in them. You should them connect and be given their IP.

You can then go and add the IP to the ban list easily enough.
