Have you verified that the files are actually there? I am pretty sure they are
not, and you will have to manually install TS into the directory
/home/menkisys/gamecreate/teamspeak/

There are some packages that need to be installed manually because of
legal issues. I don't know how many packages require this, but I'd guess
somewhere along 5%.

The server should work after you have downloaded and installed to the
directory from which GC expects it to run, as mentioned above.

hallo

so i have downloaded the bzip2 package of the NEWEST teamspeak server and extract it to /home/menkisys/gamecreate/teamspeak . the gamecreate server.ini i have copied to the teamspeak directory. i can start the teamspeak server on the shell . but i canīt start the server on der gamecreate website. i dont know what the problem is. the logs are empty.

i have changed all file rights also the teamspeak directory to owner root. but nothing helps. i cannīt start the server over the gamecreate website. i also have a teamspeak server start script included in this teamspeak package. what i can do with this. maybe i must use it.

THANKS MENKI

Can you start the TS server manually using the command line taken from GameCreate?

So something like

server_linux 8787 50 "testpass" "My Little Server" "Greetings and welcome to my server"

Why? Don't you run GameCreate as the user "menkisys"?

@Steve

Yes Steve i can start it manually but over webbrowser not. The command:

server_linux 8787 50 "testpass" "My Little Server" "Greetings and welcome to my server"

is ok and with the command i can start the server. only web start does not work.

@kybber

i have changed the owner right and test both: owner menkisys - owner root. both of them does not work.

What i can do?

THANKS

The files and dirs need to be owned by menkisys, and when you testrun the
server from the command line you need to do it as menkisys.

Can you check the gamecreate.log and post the exact command line that
GC tries to start TS with as well as any error messages following the attempt?
Also try to start the server manually with the exact startup command that GC
uses (which should be similar to what Steve wrote).
