hi,

i've problem to start up a day of defeat source server. in console and fault log it says that an error code 2 occurs.. but i dont know what this error code means. it says also that the system cant find a file, but i've installed dods from gc and not manually.

please help =/

Most likely the installation is corrupt. Either because the GC master install
is missing/faulty, or because something went wrong during installation. Take
a look in the directory where the game was installed and verify that the file
that is reported missing is there.

Is this Linux or Windows? GC lacks updated installation files for a number of
games for Linux, so you may have to perform a manual installation or create
your own content-master (which is only practicable if you have more than a
couple of hosts).

There might still be a few problems with the Orangebox package that was updated.

Try running an update with the update-dods.bat or run

HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -dir . -game dods -verify_all

but. why dont u fix the problem in the package? i reinstall dods over the night and its still the same problem..

ok. game was updated to the newest revision by myself and now it works fine.

i hope u can fix this in ur install package, so that other people can install and start the server immediatly without manually updating.
