can anyone tell me....i want to use bf2142cc to admin our gamecreate server but dont know how to set it up or if it is possible. also would like to know how to add reserved slots to our 2142 server

We don't really cover the use of the 2142CC Deamon. You can get it going but it will require some work on your part and renaming files. It's probably best you leave this option alone if you don't already know what to do.

You can very easily use rcon-only mode though, since the modmanager scripts required are standard on basically every server.

I'm assuming you don't have a ranked server. You can't reserve slots on ranked servers.

For reserver slots - make sure the reserver module is loaded in the modmanager.con file.

modmanager.loadModule "mm_reserver"

Make sure you set a password in the modules options and the amount of slots you want.

mm_reserver.privatePassword "putapasshere"

mm_reserver.reservedSlots 1


For 2142CC in rcon-only mode, simply fire up 2142CC and put in your server name, IP, rcon pass, chat name and for the port GameCreate is set up to use the game port +5. That means if your server is on port 20000 then you would use 20005 to connect with 2142CC.
