Is it possible to set custom game servers path, instead of defaulting all to eg /home/$user/gamecreate/srcds

You can change /home/$user/gamecreate yep, click on the Host Configuration tab and change the path there.

That path is chosen automatically because that's where you first ran GameCreate from.

You cannot rename 'srcds' path though, thats the name GameCreate knows the software by.
