hi

on my linux box working a css cs cod2 and a Bf2 Server , all Servers are in my favorite List of ASE but, the BF2 server is the only server who the querry not works.

Can any say me why ?
in the Server Config is Public mode on , all settings are OK

but under the Failure messages are this

Fail Query Failure 4/9/2006 2:26:23 PM
Start GameCreate attempted to start Gamezilla Testserver. 4/9/2006 2:04:37 PM

any Ideas ?

dont use the port that it gives you over write it to the default port of bf2, mine is okay

does it show up in gamespy, i know ASE takes a good few mins or even days to get scanned,

I think ive found the possible problem.

Can you goto your gamecreate/bf2 folder:

chmod +x bin/ia-32/bf2
chmod +x bin/amd-64/bf2

Then click Start/Restart under GameCreate for your BF2 server, and wait a few moments and see if it comes online.

I suspect those binaries dont have execute permission. When GameCreate Client installed the game, it should have marked it as executable, ill look into why this did not occur.

Can you do the above and let me know if your server comes up?

try setting behind NAT to "1" in the config.

i have found the problem
in the generatet serversetting are not this command
sv.interfaceIP = "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" <-same as serverip

Please add it to the generating Seetings and it will work Very Happy

i know that this is the problem
sv.interfaceIP = "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" but i tryed to add this in the properties of my server, but it dont works, then i tryed to add other settings to cod on my linux box but it dont work too.

Is it my wrong command or is there are Problem @ gamecreate ?

I tried to add in text mode and in choose mode.
I hope you can help me :>
