Hi guys,

i actually try to enable the pingboost feature on my servers, but they just don't start anymore.

Start GameCreate attempted to start server**. 06/12/2009 00:02:38
Fail Could not chmod(/my/directory/GameCreate-**/hlserver/hlds_run): (Error: 1) 06/12/2009 00:01:57

I tried to rename the hlds_run to hlds_run2 and changed the hlds_boost name to hlds_run, also replaced the command line in the hlds_boost, but my server doesnt want to start.

Any ideas?

Looks like you need to set the permission for the file to actually run.

try chmod +x on the executable file you want to run.

Thanks, i uploaded the files with root but they needed to be assigned to another user.
