will it update the linux patch on auto or do we have to do it

is there away to do this by uploading it as all servers are saying upading since this morning been down for 8 hours and only 8% done, and says failed.

servers have been updating for days, i had to reboot my box to stop them updating and stopped them with in CP, i have now uploaded the new 1.2a linux patch and files but it doesnt seen to want to run, any idea's ?

I tried to update CS:S manually as well via the .bat file included (Windows). It made the server un-operable. You have to update via the GameCreate client otherwise it will not work. Right now their server is crawling on speed. I think they just need to add one or two more around the world.

is there away to stop it checking for updates as mine is more upto date than the server thats updating it Sad

Either define a domain package (Domain Packages tab) or choose on next install of the game 'Do not keep this game up to date'.

We wont always update to the very latest of mods due to stability, your welcome to take control of your own install, though.
