stat(/root/gamecreate/gamecreate/et/etded.x86) failed: (Error: 2)

please help dunno what it means. i changed the opend up the port on my server and stil it aint working

GameCreate was trying to launch the wrong file; it should be working now.

from the looks of it, you have not installed the linux server files for ET. and also, i strongly advise against running gamecreate as root, its a security no-no.

okay how do i choose which user runs it.

and the server is now running but when i try join it says theres a protocol error

ok lol thansk for all the help i got this fixed . Turns out i never patched my client ET. AND i need to set the base url in the config
