I am getting this error on one of the CoD4 servers I created. I'm running Gamecreate on Linux

I used to have a server on port 28961 which i have since deleted.

However I cannot seem to recreate any other servers on this port due to the following error:

You can enter an alternate port number, or click Save to use the newly allocated port.


I have looked VERY carefully and found none of the existing servers using port 28961.

I have found some entries in the cod4 server on my ftp server and have deleted anything that contained port28961.

However it still tells me there's a server on it when I try to add it. When I ignore the collision, no new port28961.cfg is created and therefore introduces issues.

Would appreciate for some help here.

CoD4 reserver 100 ports, so if you have a server on 20000, and then try to create a second server within 20000-20099 it will cause a collision.

You have a server on 28960, so you will get collisions on every port up until 29060
