It seems that players are not logged for L4D2 servers. The query code is
exactly the same as for L4D. Can you look into this, please?

Sorry, the EU and US hosts haven't had an update pushed out to them which should fix this.

Andrew is going to get to this as soon as he can, but unfortunately there's no firm time on when that will be.
