Hi

When I try to install punkbuster on my cod4 server (linux) I get the error
**ERROR: This game does not appear to be installed correctly. Please verify that "Call of Duty 4" is installed in the directory "/var/gamecreate/cod4/".assumes the install dir is cod4
however for gamecreate to work, the actual install dir is callofduty4.

I have tried ./pbsetup.run --add-game=cod4 --add-game-path=/var/gamecreate/callofduty4/ but It still wants to look in cod4 and tells me the path is wrong.

How do i get punkbuster working?

Thanks, Spotta

No idea; but I suspect that PB wants to access 'cod4' for some magical reason. Did you previously install the game there manually or something?

Try contacting PB support.

Hi Andrew

I think 'cod4' is the defualt dir for Call of duty 4 - but gamecreate needs it in 'callofduty4' so this is where I manually installed it to, I'll give PB support a go.

Thanks.
