Hi @all

I have a problem witth the installation on my linux virtual server with debian etch.

If i want to install the script i get the failure :

Fatal: Kernel too old.

My problem is i can not upgrade the kernel because its a virtual server and not a dedicated server.

Is there any chance to get this working or is there a older client to download somwhere to get it working ?

Some VPS hosting, allow their clients to have custom kernel. Have you tried to upgrade the kernel?

You can also reinstall Debian Lenny, if your hosting allow it.[/b]

Sorry, we don't offer any other versions than the latest.

Even if you ran the older client, you would lose some features.

I think the suitable solution is to have your hoster install a more up to date operating system (if its that old, it can't be good - what about security updates to the OS itself you won't have?).

If your host cannot do it, I'd suggest shopping around for a better host.
