Hi @ All

i've investigated the forum, and i stumbled upon a lot of threads/topics with this kind of issue.

But it it doesn't look that there is a good solution around.
Or is there any?

OS: Centos 5.4 x86_64
Game: RedOrchestra
Gamecreate: latest stable.

The server is crashing at startup, or not starting at all, since it says it cannot find the Process Id after it was started.

Run the server manually using the same command line GameCreate Client uses (as per the console output or Server Overview tab) and see what the server console says (perhaps its reporting a map file does not exist for example).

of course, cause 1st of all I can have a look into the binary ucc-bin, which I guess isn't alright...

Where is gamecreate trying to download the stuff?

I've downloaded the game the old fashion way.
Now I am finally able to get started using gamcreate / without that create *g*

This isnt' solved at all. You should investigated what the problem is regarding the download and game install.
