I was curious what's the most servers (not master servers, game servers) people have ran with GameCreate, and how well did it do? We're considering using an alternate control panel, and GameCreate is one of those options. Also if anyone is running it on FreeBSD (6.1 STABLE) how well is it working out for you?

Also in the future how do you plan on doing licencing?

Thanks,
Cody Robertson

Hey,

We run our own product, GameCreate, ourselves on a large scale.

GameCreate powers Australia's largest gaming service GameArena ( www.gamearena.com.au ).

Theres a server list here, http://www.gamearena.com.au/getconnected/servers/

Additionally, GameCreate is used to run the user booking service (free user bookings of servers) which can be seen on http://www.gamearena.com.au/account/gamecreate/index.php?action=calendar

There are a very high number of user bookings scheduled to be ran each day.

We are also using GameCreate to power our rental service we are experimenting with, which is running a large number of Ventrilo servers.

Of course, I would really recommend (if you have not done so already) to try out GameCreate for your own setup by clicking Subscribe to the left, and setting it up and having a play yourself.

Its free to use for at least 2 hosts (Check the Subscribe page), but you can use up to 10 hosts for free during the beta period.

There are no restrictions or reduced functionality when using GameCreate for free, so you are welcome to get it all working as you intend and see if it is suitable for your needs.

If you have further questions, email support@gamecreate.com and we can have a personal chat over email if you prefer.

As for licensing, your welcome to email support (above address) to discuss any licensing issues or negotiations you would prefer to have.

We ourselves run GameCreate mostly on Windows computers, but have a few Linux computers as well.

We intend to ensure GameCreate continues to run the same for both Windows and Linux, regardless of operating system type.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
