We update the game installations as often as possible (usually on release) however this may not always be the case due to the workload associated with it and maintaining so many packages.

Your welcome to keep a local copy yourself, but I will look into getting this updated soon.

Done.

You can do this yourself through the steam updater:

./steam -command update -game hl2mp -dir .

From the ~/games/srcds directory.

Its not the Steam HL 2 that needs updating.

I also have the HL 2 Deathmatch game installed and I beleive its this one that requires updating....or doesnt it matter ?

Could you give a clear instruction as to where I put that update code please ?

Also, just to let you know that there is an error on my other server, the server is Half Life 2- DM (not the steam type)
