Hello gamecreate,
First off. We are testing your product at the moment and it looks very promising. We are using TCAdmin for creating game services right now. But we have the feeling Game Create can do a lot more then we can with TCAdmin.
I was wondering about the permissions settings. I didn’t set up any users rights and didn’t activate any users. So if I am right, there aren’t any users in our database to start from. But! If I want to set some permissions I go to “Search by name”. I enter a wildmark (*) and do “Search” I see a users called N||*Pethron. I can’t delete the users as well. How come?
Second. Game Create is strongly depending (configuration settings, installing new games, user accounts, statistics) on it’s own servers and website, were other game panel products install a web interface locally. In the game create tutorial you say you can work with Soap web services. We like that implementation, but do you have any examples for ASP.NET (VB)? We’d love to see them cause we are not very fond of the php examples. (personal taste)
Third. We seen the cooperation between Game Create and GameArena (Australia). How can users be sure you don’t use private information about customers etc? Or is Game Create developed for home use? What are the relationships between the two?

When you first create a domain, every user account created in the same region (eg, US or EU) has the same user database.
So while you will be able to see people via Search, they do not have permission in your domain until you add them to it (if ever).
Alternativly, you can plug in your own authentication system and have complete control over your users (see the Download link on the left for an example).

We dont have any examples with VB/ASP.Net at the moment, however, if you have a look at the PHP implementation and general understanding of what the web services have to offer (eg, restart a server or install a game) it should be trivial to implement a simple interface to control these actions.
You can find out more about them by clicking on the 'Web Services' tab on the Domain page.

Mammoth Media developed GameCreate many years ago (its come a long way to get where it is today). During this time, it was powering Telstra's GameArena service.
GameArena has been using GameCreate since the near beginning (several years ago now) and continues to do so as we run the GameArena games network and the servers are managed via our GameCreate system.

I'm not entirely sure what your getting at here, but you may want to read our privacy policy ( http://www.gamecreate.com/privacy.php ) which should answer your questions.

From our About page (left menu), "GameCreate makes managing game servers easy. Whether you're doing it at an enterprise level with hundreds of servers, or if you're just a hobbyist running only one server, GameCreate ensures that one of your most valuable assets - time - isn't needlessly wasted.".
Its for hobbyists and professional GSPs. This is not generally a product that would be used 'at home' (such as an appliance/word processor).
Its a server management system.
