If I install this application on my dedicated server, hosted by softlayer.com, will I be able to even run a ranked bf2 server? On the Battlefield 2 website, EA says they only distribute ranked server software to their network of "Trusted Partners." I really need to know if I can run a ranked server on my dedicated server, or do I have to rent a ranked server?

While GameCreate supports running ranked servers - you still need the actual ranked BF2 install in order to operate them.

We distribute the *unranked* server software over GameCreate.com which is installed on your hosts.

You would need to license a ranked server from an authorized partner in order to run a ranked BF2 server.
