im new to this so i might seem a bit nieve after the game files have downloaded to my pc can they be uploaded and run from my ftp site and also does the server run from my pc or from the gamecreate site

I assume this is to do with GameCreate, not our rentals website (offtopic).

As for your question:

GameCreate manages servers on your hardware, you need to provide hardware for your servers to run from - GameCreate is not a hosting website (we dont host servers for you), its a 'game panel' to manage gameservers on your hosts.

Your game servers run off the hosts/hardware you have added to your GameCreate domain.

I know that it runs from the hardware but what i am asking is, is it possible to upload it to my own ftp (not rented server my own ftp) and use that as a host

If you can execute the GameCreate Client then you would be able to control it yes.
