Hi,
I am having problems with my custom content server in linux. The content server itself is fine, but when it copys to a new host, it does not copy the chmod (I think this is what is happening) so when the new host trys to run its files, it finds that the server file (srcds_i686) is not executable and dies. I tried to run the command on the host manually and I get:
Code:
-sh-3.00$ ./srcds_run -console -norestart -game cstrike -port 21000 +ip 208.109.29.10 -nocrashdialog -tickrate 66 +fps_max 600 +maxplayers 14 +map de_dust2 +exec port21000.cfg +mani_path mani21000
Auto detecting CPU
Using SSE2 Optimised binary.
Source engine binary './srcds_i686' not executable, exiting

But the content server runs fine (chmod +x) How do you get around this problem with your content servers?
