how do i downgrade wolf et to the old version insted of the new?

You would need to manually download and change your game installation to use that version, we traditionally run the latest version of each game.

ok i downloaed the old version of it and put it in the folder that game create made but still runs it on the new version what am i doing worng?

You probably didn't delete the newer version - delete it.

i did and put the old version in still running new..also when i run jaymod for some resaon it sees the shrubbot.cfg but won't write to it

It cannot possibly be running the new version if the file no longer exists.
