Hi,
I currently testing Game Create on FreeBSD 6.x but there are some problems, with the os, NOT with GameCreate
First, i couldnt run binary files ...
Quote:
brandelf -t linux gamecreate.x86
Second, the process files system was not mounted on /proc ...
Quote:
pico /etc/fstab
proc /proc procfs rw 0 0
mount /proc
Third, srcds_run could not start because /proc/cpuinfo doesn't exist. "Unable to determine CPU Frequency".
Quote:
pico /etc/fstab
linprocfs /proc/cpuinfo linprocfs rw 0 0
kldload linprocfs
mount /proc/cpuinfo
Quote: Illegal instruction (core dumped)
Quote:
mount: /proc/cpuinfo: No such file or directory
Mounting /etc/fstab filesystem failed, startup aborted
Boot interrupted
Arg! screw FreeBSD
I am not a guru, What Linux Distrubution do u recommed to run Game Creat on?
I have been thinking about CentOS, what linux distrubution does the community use?
