when i pressed download i saw

so how exactly does this work. i was under the impressino you install gamecreate onto your web server and use it to install games and modify them on seperate dedicated servers

but it looks like you install a copy of gamecreate on each dedicated server or something?? im so confused

The software you can download is the GameCreate Client. You run it on the computer/s that will have game servers on it.

Once that small piece of software is installed, you then use the GameCreate.com web site to interact with the computer/s - installing games, running servers, etc.

so lets say i have 3 seperate dedicated servers, each one of those would have an installed client, meaning i have 3 installed clients in total

You need one client per host. That client will make sure
all the servers on that host are running and properly
configured according to the server configs that you have
set up via the web interface. It will also perform game installs
and updates, something you also control via the web interface.

If you download GameCreate Client - http://www.gamecreate.com/downloads.php

It will show a simple log window and thats about it - however it performs tasks that the master server asks of it (such as starting a server or installing a game).
