Running MOHAA on the ports it gives you doesnt show up on All Seeing Eye, but does in game spy, any idea's ???

Are you letting GameCreate manage the ports, or are you manually entering the server port you want it to use in the config/starting command line?

i am changing the command line and home line in there because your ports dont show up on game server list and all seeing eye things there down, they are working because you can enter through console and get in but not listing anywhere.

Can you let GameCreate for the time being decide what ports to use instead of you overriding them via the configuration files - Your making GameCreate think the server exists on a specific port when it doesnt.

See what happens if you let GameCreate allocate the port for your server, and *dont* override the port via the config/command line.

it works as only one server works, 12203 and show up on game lists so people can see it, there rest no one can see them so had to override iti have one running your way as a test to see if it fails

re- configed them all to your ports nothing works they still drop out, the only one that works is port 12203 the rest crash every 10 mins with Fail Query Failure all command line to default and even tried downloaded again and setting up another as default, still the same Fail Query Failure

Be patient with them drgamers, just remember, it's only a beta, and they're allowing you to use it for free while it's up. Since it's not a final product, you shouldn't be demanding such a fix. You are not paying for it, so let them work at their pace. Saying that there is a problem lets them know so they can fix it, but asking multiple times for a fix will just annoy them. If this was a full version, then yes, I would expect them to fix it right away, but as this is only a beta, you should expect nothing.

We're trying to figure one out. MOHAA is a bit tricky to support because GameCreate needs to be able to query game servers (same as GameSpy or ASE do), but unlike those tools, we don't have the benefit of having the game server automatically report themselves to us. GameCreate uses the query status to determine if the server is working correctly, report the current player count in the interface, and generate statistics.

For the vast majority of games, this is fine because
- you can specify the query port explicitly in the config file, or
- the query port is always at some offset from the main port

For MOHAA, neither of these holds true. On Windows, the GameCreate client contains code that forces MOHAA to use a query port at an offset from the main port. Unfortunately, we haven't yet developed such a fix for Linux.

Nathan, any news on this one as of yet, or are we a while off for this to be sorted out, i am only asking as i will have to get another temp CP until were all sorted to handle this game, apart from MOHAA i am very happy with this panel so please keep up the good work

Some amount of work has begun making the required additions to the Linux GameCreate Client though.
