Hi Guys!

I really like Game Create, its a very very nice concept and a very nice idea. But it have some bugs i think...

My Problems:
1. If i start a CS-Server and keep the GameCreate Client opened, its restarting the Server every 1-2min. I set restarting to every day at 5:00AM...(Tried another Gameserver (HL2: Hidden) and its the same problem there too.)

2. At my Counter-Strike Gameserver i run AMXModX. I copied some nice Plugins in the amxx/plugins folder and i wrote them via the Webinterface into the plugins27015 file. But they dont Start... At AMX mod x u can stop/start installed Plugins via an Adminmenu ingame. I tried that too but my Plugins aren't in the list ingame.

I tried the plugins with the Valve Dedicated Server. with steam!

There it works fine .

Check the 'Failure Reports' link from the servers' Overview tab, most likely GameCreate is restarting the server because its crashing for one reason or another.

Run the server from the command line manually (without GameCreate) and see what happens.

Use the command line shown on the servers Overview tab.

Hmm no it dont crashs.. Game Create just restart it. Because if i Start it and close the GameCreate Client on the Server after starting, it runs perfect .

I have the same problem with a Steam TFC server.
Every 2 to 3 minutes: " Fail Query Failure "

The server does not crash when run from the CLI.

Query Failure means the server is being restarted because it failed to be queried successfully from the web by GameCreate.

Ok i see. But i tried with another game, AA:O and that didnt crash.
Maybe it's a Steam issue ?

"Query Failure" means GameCreate from the internet (ie, a server on our network) was not able to query your gameserver at the server IP and Port shown on the 'Overview' tab of the server.

Be sure that your server is queryable, otherwise, GameCreate thinks it has crashed and will restart it.

The server is queryable, it shows up in the Steam game list and i can join it too. It seems to me that GameCreate for some reason thinks it needs to be restarted.

Are you changing the server port in the configuration file, as opposed to what is listed on the servers 'Configuration' tab?

Nope. The server is started with the same port as configured in the panel.
I did change it once, to match the port already configured in our firewall.

It's not the standard port 27015 the server runs on, but 27025. The commandline also includes '-sport 27030' (what is that for ?) and that port is also configured in our firewall.

GameCreate will try and query the IP and Port listed on the servers 'Overview' page, therefore, if you are changing the port number - change it from the 'Port' value on the 'Configuration' tab - Changing it elsewhere will not let GameCreate query the server.
