You say you know the server is running but you are getting the query problems??
I have had this with my BF2 server, only after I changed the query port from the default that Mammoth gave me.. That is as far as my knowledge of your problems go sorry mate? |

The query port is what the Gamecreate software would be using to look at the status of your server.. It is also used by other server browsers to see your server such as: ASE, Ingame browser etc..
In BF2 it is called the Gamespy port, not to sure about CS:S, but you should leave it at whatever Mammoth defaulted it at.. If it is changed it could conflict with other server Mammoth are running.. |

Its being restarted because GameCreate cant query the server, so it thinks its down.
Is your server queryable from the internet? For example, you should be able to add it to a program such as ASE and query the server. |

No its not, because the network that i am on goes to crap on some days. What i did was stop gamecreate and then started it again. After restarting I clicked the button that said it is already stoped, so that gamecreate doesn't monitor the server because it thinks its stoped, but allows the server to keep running. It is not a perm. fix, but works for now. I really need a solution for this. Such a headache |

We have on our todo list to mark a host to not have its servers queried (for example, servers on a LAN).
I'll try and get this done for you sooner than later for you |

This is now done.
Goto your hosts Configuration tab, uncheck the Server Query option. |
