Hello,

I have been trying to install game servers, specifically, Counter-Strike Source and Counter-Strike on my machine.

Unfortunatly, every install keeps failing. Is there something that I am doing wrong? If so, how can I correct this as I have tryed many different things.

I also am wondering if anyone has used Game Create on Debian Sarge. Please let me know.

Cheers,
Tyler

Does the install progress at all?

Be sure your host computer has access to access the following address:
http://144.140.155.2:3579

This is our content server address (its a web server) and an install will fail if GameCreate Client is unable to access it.

Im getting the same thing. I run a linux box for my servers and I cant get it to install. I have all my games already installed is it possible to just import it into game create?

Here is the errors I am getting

You have chosen to install Enemy Territory. The following actions are in progress:

Installation in progress on extremegamersnetwork.servermatrix.host:
Enemy Territory install: waiting for host
(0%)

and it just sits there.

Is the host logged in/online? Check its Overview tab.

GC will only make a host install/uninstall one game at a type - if another is in progress, you need to wait.

You can make GC just use the game already installed by (on the final install tab) click on 'Advanced Options' and then 'Mark this software as already installed'.

What happens when GameCreate Client retrys the installation, does it end up making further progress and failing again?

Do you have a direct connection to the internet?

The Client Retrys the installation, and fails again.
I only install one Game and there is no other program on that server

Its a Rootserver with a direct Connection, yes

Can you try installing the Shoutcast server for me? This is a small game and should install quickly.
