I am trying to figure out how I would templitize subs that i create for people that rent servers from me. One of the options hlstatsx. I figured out how to add the server vars in by hand (log on, logaddress_add xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx) but I would like to automate this into new subs and servers that i create for css. I was wondering if you had a howto on automation, i saw that you have a full automation process for your servers. Do you just offer mani with yours and give them the default css server? If there is a manual page that may shed some light on this, please link it also.
Thanks
Kyle
P.S. I am setting all of this up from scratch (the whole "server" company") and documenting things I learn and the process I take, if you guys would like it after I complete it I will hand it over.
We dont currently have a means for you to automate directly the configuration of server config files (via webservices).
What you may want to do is simply automate the creation of the server etc, and just let the user configure it to their needs at a later date (or at their request).
We find at the moment users prefer to have control over their configurations from the start (and just have a basic setup so anything they do not like does not come with the server) and move on from there.
