Hi all,

Can't seem to connect to our vent.. is there a problem with the server?

server just stopped 2hours ago, and its current stuck on "Starting"

Perhaps login to your gamecreate console, and stop and start the server.

Log indicates a restore was done to get it working, perhaps some automated backup process... could take a while.

Ah.. just got off the phone to them.. this is a portion of the email they send a short while ago..

This is a notification e-mail that your Ventrilo rental server running on the IP address (deleted) will be temporarily offline while required maintenance is performed on the server's hosting computer.

We expect the downtime to take at most one hour, but should be up and running much sooner than this.

This scheduled downtime will take place today at 2:00pm Brisbane Time (GMT + 10).

.... I was told they're all coming up slowly.. just a lot of them to reconnect ^^

Apologies this took so long guys.

We had to bring the machine down for some maintenance that had to have been done today, and the servers took longer than expected to come up.

We are aware of how long that took and are mindful about minimising the impact next time.
