Hey im a complete linux noob but bought a server under recomendation. Now i want to run game servers but ive hit my first snag, ive barely tiptoed across the start line. Basily i cant even run the .run file cause i have no idea how to . Umm im using kubuntu. Any help would be appreicated. i have got a GUI interface with NX, which kindly the server admins setup for me. So step by step guide please

Sounds like you should be running windows

I dont have the time to give you support for how to use linux.

Not how to use it, just to install game create, i can do mundane things, its just taht i have no idea how to use the .run files. Neither do people that use linux, theyve never used them or heard of them. Is there anyone that could help me?

You just run it like a normal executable - Give it execute permission and then run it.

Ok i eventually got it all running, now when i run the program its nto showing up in a host now, ive double chekced the doamin and the password so it should all be working. Any ideas?

I lied still not working . ITs just not seeing my host for some reason, i got over the authentification problem somehow but its still not seeing my host.

What do you mean its not seeing your host? Lets see the console log of the client.

Ahh well i forked out the extra money for a windows one, so no more problems now hopefully . Just one question, can you skin gamecreate, or is there anyways to make it fit in with my site?
